Mr. David Barani
Mr. B was born at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in 1983. After moving around his family settled in Cape Girardeau, MO in the 3rd grade. He graduated from Cape Central HS in 2001. As a kid he lived for marching band, was active in youth group, and enjoyed playing hockey and soccer. He attended Southeast Missouri State University and received a bachelor’s degree in Instrumental Music Education K-12 specializing in French horn in 2006. He completed his master’s degree in Middle School Educational Leadership through Arkansas State University in 2019. He began his career with one year at Montgomery County R-2 and one year at Richland in Essex. He then spent ten years at Puxico where he built a program known across the state for their innovative marching band. His hobbies are beekeeping, Magic the Gathering, and table-top strategy gaming. Featured in this photo are his wife of 15 years Tammy and their 5 year old daughter Ella. This is Mr. B's 4th year at PCMS.
